Overview
There’s a genuine delight in observing MetaGPT take a high-level prompt, like 'build a simple e-commerce app selling artisanal coffee,' and almost immediately begin to decompose it into distinct roles: Product Manager, Architect, Coder. I can brief it on a new app idea, specifying features and user flows, and it just... sketches out the whole project plan, complete with detailed functional breakdowns and even basic code structure outlines. This intelligent scaffolding offers a wonderful foundation, removing much of the initial project setup friction. However, as a product designer, I do yearn for a more visually considered interaction layer – perhaps some fluid animations or a more minimalist aesthetic that complements its powerful, methodical backend.
